Secretarys Report
A quiet year with some success to mention I have had enquiries from new police officers and although they are keen getting time off from duties is proving difficult for them.
Eric continues to be the backbone of this club with his stalwart running of the accounts and I would like to thank him for all his effort this last year. Also I have to say thanks to Barry for keeping the scoring up to date on the website
With more financial restrictions again this year we have some challenges ahead but I am sure with every ones continued commitment we can overcome them and have a successful year.
Matters Arising
MPAA Colours Nomination
The members decided by a vote that this years nomination would be Henry Sycamore .Because he was not in attendance an email would be sent to Henry to extend the invite.
Honorarium The honorarium of officers was discussed for this year and the members decided it should continue .This was providing the MPAA do not raise any objections or queries.
Proposed Clive Knowles Seconded Pat Broom
AOB
National Event
It was discussed that our National Event should continue at Tolworth as this is the best venue available .
The raffle was again discussed . it was decided that the amount contributed towards it from the club funds would stay at the reduced amount with any extra unwanted Christmas presents gratefully accepted
Romford
The secretary asked for consideration to be given on dropping City Pavillion Romford from our list of supported venues. A discussion took place and it was agreed it would be dropped but could still be considered as a venue for the AGM
Martin Evans Trophy
Won by Daniel Meaton
Potters
Potters was discussed in light of PSUK withdrawing from the venue at Hopton On Sea. . Emails had been circulating regarding splitting up the events and holding them in different parts of the country. On going discussions are currently ensuing but the MPAA have already made it clear that they will not fund any event that PSUK are not apart of.
